The Sick in Eden Army

Shibuya Transport: Sick, I tell You

How sick is Sick in that he would rather peel off on the pee-wee bike and not look back.

Sicky.

GlennGarry Glenn Ross in Japan

Wonder if the line, "It takes brass balls to sell real estate" holds the same powerful sway in Japanese, "Machine?"

Wandering Minstrels, We

Local musicians perform in front of a Japanese shopping mall.

Drop in Anytime, Boys
Buds from last year's Loud Park '06 fiasco still feeling the side effects of the concert's near fatal miso.

What's your favorite Nicsect?

Asked my Let's Go 6 class for as many animals as they could think of. All went well. Wrote the the usual "lion, elephant, pig" responses on the board but my kids forgot quite a number of other species. "Let's have some fish, insects," I suggested. Without pause, one of the more astute, bilingual nine year olds, Riko, grinned proudly and shouted: "Nick!"

Sweet.

"FORCE LOVE," Anyone?

A bloodied, six-armed, super-sexy, naked Jesus-esqe hottie crucified among the lines of a certain "Govern-ator" all under the "benevolent" eye of a Masonic eyeball.

Japan's Love of Kong, an Obsession

1. Cong Laundry

2. Love Hotel

3. Bar

4. Boutique

5. Gas Station

My Money's Still on Wesley

Seems the movie, Blade holds great influence over Japan. This host club--a place where women can talk with a pretty face for 80.00 an hour--continues where the last three movies left off. Now, Asian vampires will talk to naive women for an hour and collect their money.

And all with minimal blood loss.

Japanese Rhapsody: Love Hotels Revisited

While the Franz Liszt Music Coservatory in Budapest, Hungary is ablaze with talented pianists, so, too, is the Hotel Listo.

7 Month Celibacy Curse Ends

Up until last week, Sick unwilingly went seven frustrating months without Mexican food.
